4 wheel flip

On monday 12 Sept. I borrowed Garth's 4-wheeler to check out the feed in the South pasture. I found 12 head of  Summer's dry cows but the feed is gone. I open the gate to let them into the new pasture and new pond. While opening  the gate by the road the 4-wheeler flipped me on the steep hill. I got a bloody nose , cut on my face and a very brused right hip. No broken bones and I could manuver very good that day. Now I have just one week to recover and fly to Nebraska.

We think we have sold Becky's house and will close on the 22th. Then we will travel with them to Denver and try to buy them a new house. Houses are much higher in the Denver area , so will have to dig up some extra money

every thing is good here right now. Grandpa feels better after surgery and Dennis has been a big help in getting the hay bailed and hauled.

trip to eastern europe

Instead of leaving for Eastern Europe on the12th of July, I ended up recovering at home from another bladder cancer operation performed by Dr Ryan Larsen. We cancelled our trip with Grand Circle and hope that our insurance will reimburse for most of the cost. Things are back to normal again, with the first crop hay in the stack yard, thanks to lots of help by son-in-law Dennis Lee. He enjoyed using my new round bailer.
After two weeks of down time I am now back to normal and doing my own chores. We attended the Martin Harris pagent in Clarkston and the new show is a great musical.

trip to eastern euorpe

on the twelth of July we were scheduled to begin a 16 day tour of eastern euorpe with the grand circle tour group. On the 5th of July we  planned a short trip to Jackson hole and Yellowstone Park with Helen, Dennis, Tori, Dawson, Debra, Vanessa and her children.
On the way we stopped in Logan to have Dr Ryan Larsen check me over. He found another blatter cancer and cut it out the same day. We cancelled our trip to eastern europe and now hope our trip insurance will reimburse us.
After two weeks of rest I am now back to normal and hope to last a few more years.
